LEMON TEA


ingredients

2 family size tea bags
1 pt. boiling water
1 c. sugar
juice of 2 lemons
1 pt. cold water

preparation

Start with fresh cold water. Bring water to a boil in a nonreactive saucepan. Add tea bags and steep for 7 minutes. Remove tea bags. Add sugar, stirring to dissolve. Add lemon juice while tea is still warm. Pour into pitcher. Add the cold water. Cover and chill. Serve over ice.

No need for iced teaspoons or extra lemon when served this way!
