Cover raisins and soda with 3 cups boiling water. Cover and let stand overnight. The next day, mix raisins with all other ingredients. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Reduce heat to 300° for 1/2 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. This makes 2 tube pan cakes. |
