SALAD
(Christmas or Valentine's Day)
ingredients
2 pkg. red raspberry or strawberry jello
2 c. hot water
2 pkg. frozen red raspberries or strawberries
2 c. applesauce

preparation
Bring water to a boil; add jello. Stir until dissolved. Add frozen berries; continue to stir until berries are thawed apart. Add applesauce. Stir until well mixed. Set in refrigerator until set. |
Topping: ingredients
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 pkg. Dream Whip
green food color if for Christmas
1 c. powdered sugar

Combine the preceding. Spread over set jello mixture. Chill and serve. |
