THE PORTERS' GREEN GRAPE COBBLER


ingredients

1 qt. fresh little green unripe mustang grapes*
1 c. sugar
cobbler batter
many pats of butter or margarine

preparation

*Pick them while they are still small. Walter said they will get too hard in 2 or 3 days.

Sweeten and cook grapes to taste and to consistency of canned pie filling. Pour or arrange with your favorite cobbler batter. Pat the top with butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake until done and semi-brown. A unique, old-fashioned recipe.
