BREAD MACHINE BEER BREAD


ingredients

2 pkg. yeast
2 1/4 c. bread flour
1 1/4 c. rye flour
1 tsp. to Tbsp. caraway seed
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 c. beer
2 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. water

preparation

Heat beer with honey, margarine and water (90° to 105°). Add to dry ingredients. Place machine on manual setting. Remove from machine when it beeps and shape dough into a round loaf. Place on greased cookie sheet, baking pan or casserole. Bake 35 to 45 minutes, until it sounds hollow when tapped.

Can be left in machine to bake on medium setting. Can also be made by hand, kneading in traditional method.
