QUICK CHICKEN 'N' DUMPLINGS


ingredients

2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 pkg. frozen dumplings
1 whole chicken (optional) or canned chicken
salt and pepper to taste

preparation

You will also need a deep-dish casserole dish.

Boil chicken. Cool, debone and/or keep bone in (your preference). Place chicken in a deep casserole dish. Season with salt and pepper. Cook frozen dumplings in the chicken stock and/or follow directions on package. Put dumplings in deep casserole dish with chicken. Optional to layer chicken and dumplings. Mix soups. Add 2 cans of water (adjust according to your taste for thickness of gravy). Bring soup mixture to a boil. Then pour over the chicken and dumplings. Place in oven at a low temperature to thoroughly heat and/or may eat as is. Enjoy!
