Chef’s Glazed Spareribs

 

Ingredients:

3 slabs of spareribs

BBQ rib rub

Bourbon Mop pg.7

Barbecue sauce pg.7

 

 

 

Directions:

The night before you barbecue, mix the rub in a bowl . apply the rub evenly to the ribs, saving about half of the spice mixture.  Place ribs in plastic bag or wrap in plastic and place in refrigerator overnight. Before beginning to barbecue, take ribs from refrigerator and pat them down with remaining rub les sit at room temp for 30 to 40 minutes.  If using oven preheat to 200 degrees place each rib in separate pieces of heavy duty foil. Wrap 2 sides together and wrap oven end tightly so no juices escape.  Open up the other end so as to pour in bourbon mop, making sure that thee is enough for each slab. Then roll end up so that none spills. Put I baking pan and cook for 3 to 4 hour s until meat can easily be pulled from bone. Reserve juices and pour into saucepan. Add barbecue sauce, baste in sauce place in oven for 10 to 15 minutes ser with remaining sauce.
