Yeast Rolls

Ingredients:

¼ c. Yeast

1 quart plus ¼ c. Warm water

½ c.  shortening

¾ c.  dry milk

½ c.  Sugar

2 tsp. Salt

3 lb. & 10oz. Flour (about 10 cups)

 

Directions

 

Mix yeast in warm water, when dissolved and add dry milk, salt, sugar and shortening.  Mix well and add flour; mix until a nice consistency.  Put in large bowl let rise until double in size.  Work down; cut in 3 pieces.  Roll each on floured board.  After rolled use pastry brush with melted butter or margarine on dough before cutting.  Place on pan and let rise again bake on 450 degrees until golden brown.

 

Can also make loaf bread
