Black Beans Soup

1 bag black beans

1 scallion – chopped

½ small onion

1 packet sazon (accent)

1 Tbsp. garlic powder

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

1 tsp. flour

1 Tbsp. water

pinch of salt

Boil beans until tender.  Take half of the beans and blend it.  In a separate pot on the stove add in oil, scallion, onion, garlic, and sazon.  With a strainer over pot strain the blended mixture – then add in the rest of beans to mixture.  Let it simmer for 5 minutes.  In a small bowl, mix flour with a tablespoon of water.  Add to bean mixture to thicken.  Serve with white rice.
