Mock Blintz

 

1 (8 oz) cream cheese – softened

¾ c. white sugar

1 egg yolk

1 (2 lb) loaf bread

2 sticks melted margarine

2 c. white sugar

3 Tbsp. Cinnamon

 

Mix well the cheese, ¾ cup white sugar and egg yolk.  Remove crust from the bread roll out flat with rolling pin.  Spread the filling on each piece of bread.  Roll up – the filling will do the 2 # loaf.

 

Bowl 1 – melt the margarine

Bowl 2 – mix sugar and cinnamon well dip the rolls in melted margarine – then roll in the sugar and cinnamon – bake 350-degree oven for 8 to 9 minutes.
