CHICKEN AND APPLE-PECAN STUFFING


ingredients

4 to 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 chopped Gala apple
1/3 c. natural applesauce
1/4 c. chopped pecans
1 box Stove Top stuffing (6 oz.)
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. golden raisins
1 can Healthy Request cream of chicken soup

preparation

Wash chicken breasts and pat dry. Place in a crock-pot. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat and saut onion, celery, apple and raisins. Add pecans, water, applesauce, cream of chicken soup and stuffing mix; mix together. Spoon over chicken in the crock-pot. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Serves 4 to 6.
