CHRISTMAS GINGERBREAD COOKIES
1 c. shortening1 c. light brown sugar3 eggs, well beaten1 1/2 c. molasses6 c. bread flour1 1/2 Tbsp. ginger2 1/4 tsp. salt1 tsp. cinnamon1 1/2 tsp. soda
Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and molasses. Stir dry ingredients together and add. Chill. Roll out not too thin. Bake at 350° until dry, not crisp. Makes enough dough for many shaped cookies. Frost, if desired.
