1 large can crushed pineapple and juice
2/3 c. sugar
1 large box orange flavored jello
2 c. water
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. Velveeta cheese, shredded
1 carton Cool Whip

Mix pineapple with juice and sugar. Bring to a boil. Add dry jello and water; stir well and let gel. Add cheese, pecans, and Cool Whip. Chill and serve.
