1/2 C. butter
3/4 C. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 C. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix in remaining ingredients.

Chill at least one hour. Roll out thin for cutting out.

Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.

May choose to double this recipe.
