MISSOURI COOKIES


ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
pinch of salt
3 c. quick-cooking oats

preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa, milk and butter in saucepan; cook at full rolling boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, peanut butter and salt. Mix well. Add oats. Drop by teaspoons on waxed paper and cool until firm. Makes 4 dozen.
