VEGETABLE SUSHI


ingredients

sushi sea weed sheets
brown rice
carrots
zucchini
avocado
tamari (soy) sauce
pickled ginger
wasabi

preparation

Cut carrots, zucchini and avocado into slivers. Cook rice. Warm sushi sheets to make more flexible. Spread rice over sheets 1 inch from one and and 2 inches from other end. Wet the ends. Lay slivers of carrots, zucchini and avocado and roll tight. Roll back and forth to seal ends. Cut rolls into 1-inch pieces. Be careful in cutting.

To eat, dip part into soy sauce. Lay a piece of ginger and a dot (very hot) of wasabi and eat.
