PASSOVER BUTTER COOKIES


ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
2 c. cake meal
1 c. chopped nuts
grated orange peel

preparation

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and beat well. Add cake meal, nuts and orange peel and mix well. Roll onto aluminum foil and shape into a roll about 1 1/2-inches in diameter. Refrigerate overnight.

Slice 1/4-inch thick and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350° for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
