Bake cake and set aside. Put strawberry syrup in top of double boiler. Add gelatin and stir until it is dissolved. Add strawberries; stir. Then chill until thickened. Whip cream until stiff; add sugar. Fold cream into thickened strawberry mixture and then frost cake and chill several hours before serving. |
