DATE NUT CANDY LOAF

ingredients

2 C sugar
1/2 C milk
1/4 C white corn syrup
1 tbsp butter
1 C diced dates
1 C nuts

preparation

Cook sugar, milk and syrup until the hard ball stage.

Add butter, dates and nuts and beat until creamy with a mixer. Roll into a damp cloth (cheesecloth), refrigerate until ready to use.
