Cut off tips of chicken wings, if desired. Place wings, soy sauce, sugar, five spices powder, water and garlic powder in a saucepan. Cover and simmer about 25 minutes or until wings are almost done. If not using immediately, refrigerate right in the cooking liquid. Just before serving, place on foil lined baking sheet and place under broiler until brown and crisp, turning once. If desired, baste once or twice with cooking liquid. Remove and sprinkle with seasoning salt. |
