Beat egg yolks, salt, vanilla and sugar about 5 minutes. Sift flour once with baking powder; add to egg mixture, alternating with cold water, beating at "blend" speed to mix smooth after each addition. Beat egg whites until they hold stiff peaks, but are not dry. Gently fold in with rubber spatula the egg whites in batter. Pour into 9 x 13 cake pan lined with wax paper; do not grease or flour. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Cool; cut in pieces your choice of size, approximately 1 x 2 1/2-inches. Frost with Peanut Bar Frosting. |
