2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. boiling water
2 c. cold water
1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
1 (46 oz.) can orange juice
1 c. lemon juice
1/2 gal. orange sherbet, softened
1 (33.8 oz.) bottle ginger ale, chilled

Combine gelatin and sugar. Add boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Stir in cold water and fruit juice. Chill. Spoon sherbet into punch. Add ginger ale. Yields approximately 6 1/2 quarts.
