CHOCOLATE FILLED SNOWBALLS


ingredients

1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. chocolate kisses
powdered sugar

preparation

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light. Add flour and nuts; blend well and chill. Shape dough around kisses, using 1 tablespoon of dough for each. Roll to make ball. Bake at 375° on ungreased cookie sheet for 12 minutes or until set but not brown. Cool slightly. While warm, roll in powdered sugar.
