MRS. TRIPP'S HAM, AND PICKLE APPETIZER


ingredients

6 to 8 slices Polish ham
6 to 8 whole dill pickles
1 lb. cream cheese, softened

preparation

Dry pickles well. Spread cream cheese on pickles, one at a time, making sure layer of cheese is as even as possible. Starting with the short end of one slice of ham, roll ham onto pickle with cheese as tightly as possible. Wrap each lightly in wax paper. Cut each "pickle" into rounds about 1/2-inch thick just before serving.
