If you don't have enough fruit of one kind, you may add apples or pears. Cover bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan with fruit, canned or fresh, and sweeten to taste. Mix in 1 to 1 1/2 cups of water. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top of fruit mixture. Then layer pecans over cake mix. Dice sticks of margarine and dot over pecans. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350°. Serve plain or with whipped cream. |
