AMERICAN BEEF AND PEPPERS
1 lb. round steak, cut in thin strips3 Tbsp. oil1 can golden mushroom soup1 c. water Accent (seasoning) salt and pepper to taste1 large green pepper, sliced in rings1 large onion, sliced rice, cooked (enough for the group)
Brown meat in oil in heavy skillet. Add soup, water and seasonings. Simmer covered over low heat about 20 minutes. Additional water may be added if needed to keep liquid the consistency of rich gravy. Add pepper and onion rings to meat and continue cooking until tender. Serve over rice. Serves 4.
This recipe can easily be doubled and the kids really like it!
