Fruit Pizza (page 62)
Ingredients
¾ c. Margarine softened
½ c. Confectioner sugar
1 ½ c. All purpose flour
1-2/3 c. Hershey’s vanilla or peanut butter chips.
(10 oz.)
¼ c. whipping cream
1 8 oz. Pkg. Cream cheese
¼ c. Sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
½ Tbsp. Lemon juice
Assorted fresh fruit
Directions
1st Layer: Heat oven to 300 degrees. Beat margarine and sugar until light and
fluffy. Blend in flour. Press mixture onto bottom and sides of 12 inch round pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown. Cool
Prepare vanilla filling by mix in microwave safe
bowl. Hershey’s chips and whipping
cream 1 to 1 ½ minutes or smooth. Beat
in cream cheese.
Spread on crust: Cover and chill
Prepare
fruit topping in saucepan combine sugar & cornstarch, stir in juices. Cook until thick slice and arrange fruit on
top of fillings Pour juice mixture over fruit.
