Ingredients

 

1 c. Butter

1 c. Sugar

4 eggs

1 Tbsp. milk

1 tsp. Nutmeg

1 tsp. Vanilla

4 c. Flour

3 Tbsp. baking powder

 

Directions

 

Cream butter and sugar.  Add eggs.  Mix well.  Add milk, nutmeg and vanilla.  Sift flour and baking powder; combine with other mixture.  Add flour, then cut.  Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 325-degree oven for 15 minutes.

Yields approximately 4 dozen cookies.
