Ingredients:
1 (10 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles, broken into small pieces
1 lb ground beef (lean)
1/2 lb Italian sausage
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced (I use pre minced garlic, about 2 tsp)
12 oz Mozzarella cheese, shredded
5 to 6 oz Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (12 oz.) carton small curd cottage cheese
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 1/2 to 2 c. water
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/2 Tbsp dried parsley
1 tsp basil
Directions:
Brown ground beef and sausage; drain. Put in lightly greased
crock-pot. Add all remaining ingredients, except noodles. Stir
to mix. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours or on high for 3 to
5 hours. I add uncooked noodles during last 2 hours. I also
add 1 small can of spicy v-8 juice for a little extra zing to the recipe.
