Beef Stew

Ingredients

2 lbs. Round Steak, Diced 1 inch cubes
2 c. diced potatoes
2 c. sliced carrots
2 c. chopped celery
1 lg. Onion chopped
1 lg. Bell pepper chopped
1 tsp. Salt
2 bay leaves
½ tsp. Oregano
1 (13 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 clove of garlic minced

Directions

Brown steak in skillet with a little Crisco.  Place all ingredients in a large cooking pot with meat and simmer until carrots are done.  Thicken stew with cornstarch and water.  Serve with rice, French Bread and Ice tea.
