2(10oz.) cans condensed tomato soup 2 soup cans of buttermilk 1 tsp basil leaves, dried and crumbled 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. black pepper In a large mixing bowl, combine soup, buttermilk, basil, sugar and pepper. Mix well and chill. At serving time, spoon into bowls; top each with a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with paprika. Can add a fresh basil leaf for garnish is desired. Makes 5 cups. |
