It supports and assists seniors 60 and over by providing a hot nutritious meal, home delivered or in a group setting; it promotes fellowship, reduces isolation and provides prevention programming, such as Tai Chi classes, nutrition education, preventing falls, and include fun events such as card playing, music, Packer parties, as well as guest speakers on senior benefits, history, and health clinics, so as to maintain independence and involvement in their community. We have 15 sites located throughout the two counties. We are a non-profit organization.
Contributors to the cookbook are current and former staff and participants, and members of all the communities. The cost is $12.00, plus $5.00 shipping and handling. Spray a 9X13X2" baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Unroll dough and press into bottom of pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
In a medium bowl, mix together eggs and milk. Pour over partially baked dough. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Return to oven and bake 25 minutes more or until set. |
