There are 192 recipes that we believe will nourish the body and feed the soul.The easel type book format we chose is easy to set on the counter and read from while preparing the recipe. Many recipes are classics that have been unpdated to include Eggland's Best Eggs,olive oil, tofu and other healthy ingredients. 6 c. yams, peeled and diced
1/2 c. olive oil
1 T. garlic powder
1/2 c. Tabasco sauce
1 t. salt
1 t. white ground pepper
Tabasco to adjust heat after cooking
Blue cheese dressing for dipping
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In a 9x13x2-inch baking dish, place yams and olive oil. Stir to coat well. Sprinkle with spices. Bake for 20 minutes until yams are soft. Stir a couple times while baking to brown on all sides.
3. Taste one for heat level. Add more Tabasco, like mild,medium or hot for chicken wings. Serve with toothpicks to dip in the blue cheese. Nice and sweet and spicy at the same time. |
