Included are guides for measuring ingredients, a handy list for ingredient substitutions, plus many other helpful hints for preparing and planning delicious and nutritious meals and dishes. The recipes come in an attractive three-ring binder featuring photographs of the first Home in 1908 and the present-day Home in 2008.
The King's Daughters and Sons Home, located in Bartlett, TN, is a modern 108 bed nursing care facility offering comprehensive nursing care at the subacute, skilled and restorative levels. More than 100 individuals who can not care for themselves without trained aid share our Home and make it their own.
The proceeds from the sales of these cookbooks will help support the
mission of caring for God's children who are residents of The King’s Daughters and Sons Home.

1-1/2 cups canola oil
1 package dry Ranch Dressing (3 T)
2 Tablespoons red pepper flakes
1 box no fat crackers (must use no fat) (I use Wortz crackers purchased at Fred's or Kroger's which are the least expensive no-fat crackers)
Mix oil, dressing and pepper flakes together. Unsleeve crackers and place in large Ziplock bag. Pour dressing mixture over crackers; zip bag and turn over and over in order to get a good coating on crackers. Turn several times during the next several hours - usually tastes best after the first day. Great snack! |
