1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and cut into 8
pieces
1 pkg. crescent rolls (8 rolls)
1 stick butter
1/2 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
cinnamon/sugar mixture
Wrap each apple slice in a crescent roll triangle. Place in a baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar between the individual dumplings in the bottom of the pan. Heat butter, water, and sugar and pour over dumplings. Sprinkle cinnamon/sugar over dumplings. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Serves 8 |
