1 lb yellow squash 1 lb zucchini 1 med onion 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can water chestnuts 1 box seasoned bread crumbs ½ cup melted butter ½ tsp salt & pepper ½ tsp thyme
Chop onion. Slice squash and zucchini into half inch pieces. Boil with salt and pepper for about 5 minutes. Drain off liquid. Combine thyme, cream of chicken soup and water chestnuts; add to squash mixture. Set aside. Combine bread crumbs and butter; put half in bottom of 9x13 baking dish. Add squash mixture next. Put rest of bread crumbs over top. Bake at 350 for about 30 to 35 minutes. Let rest for a few minutes before serving
