½ c butter
1 c sugar
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp boiling water
¼ c molasses
Combine all ingredients in saucepan, heat until soft to medium boil. Test with cold glass of water.(Drop off amt. of mixture into glass) When at right stage of hardness, pour into buttered platter. Let cool a bit and cut or pull to right size.
