Cookbook Title: GRANDMA'S MODERN INFLATION FIGHTERS, VOLUMN 2
Item ID: | 09663 | Abstract: | When my siblings and I were young, our parents taught classes on how to use food storage. Thru their years of teaching they collected many recipes along with “how to” information and helpful hints. My Mother created a cookbook containing all the recipes she collected and used in their classes. Her cookbook contained “only those recipes she thought you would not find in your tried and true cookbooks”. Many of the recipes she received were from great grandparents and family, others were from neighbors and friends who lived during the war or depression when there was very little. She wrote "Our Grandmothers knew how to preserve, dry and stretch a little to feed a lot”. This book is based on the same concept which is using what we have in our refrigerators, pantries, cupboards and food storage to stretch what we have. This cookbook contains 604 recipes in which you will find sections covering canning, using sprouts, how to dry meats, fruits and vegetables, making and using soy, how to make your own dairy products and much, much, more. I hope you find this cookbook valuable not only to you, but to your family as well!
