To make the Chowder: 2 c. Water 2 c. Potatoes, Diced 1 c. Carrots, Diced 1/4 c. Celery, Diced 1/4 c. Onion, Chopped 1 c. Ham, Cooked and Cubed
Sautee all ingredients, except water, in dutch oven until tender, add water. Bring to a boil.
While waiting for the mixture to boil, make the sauce. Follow sauce directions to finish the recipe.
For the Sauce 1 tsp. Salt 1/4 tsp. Pepper 1/4 c. Flour 2 c. Milk 2 c. Cheddar Cheese
In a sauce pan, gradually mix flour with milk. Use a whisk. Bring to a boil, whisk for two minutes until thickened. Remove from heat. Add cheese. Stir until melted.
Pour sauce into dutch oven. Stir to combine. Heat until boiling. Remove from heat and serve.
