3/4 c. all-purpose flour 1 t. baking powder 3 T. butter softened 1/2 c. white sugar 1 t. ground cinnamon 1 (3oz) pkg. non-instant vanilla pudding 1 (12oz) can sliced peaches - Freestone in heavy syrup-drained & syrup reserved 1 (8oz) pkg soft cream cheese 1/2 t. salt 1 large egg 1/2 c. milk 1 T. White sugar
Preheat oven to 350~. Grease sides and bottom of a 10" deep dish pie pan. Mix together flour, salt, baking powder, and pudding mix. Blend in butter, egg, and milk; beat for 2 minutes. Pour this mixture into pie pan. Arrange sliced peaches on top of this mixture in pie pan. In a small mixing bowl beat cream cheese until fluffy, add 1/2 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons of reserved peach syrup, beat for 2 minutes. Spoon mixture over peaches to within 1 inch of pie pan edge. Mix together 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle over top. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown. Let cool and then chill and serve.
