1 lb. hamburger meat 1/2 medium onion - chopped 1 samll can chopped green chilies 1 pkg. enchilada sauce mix milk corn tortillas 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Mix enchilada sauce mix according to package directions, except use milk instead of water. Set aside. Brown hamburger with onions and chilies. Drain off the fat. Pour sauce mixture over meat and simmer on low heat. Cut 10 to 15 tortillas into quarters. Put as many as you can into meat mixture. You might have to let them soften a little to add more. Mixture will thicken. Turn off heat and add cheese on top. Let cheese melt and serve with refried beans and rice. Submitted by: Kay Wilson
