2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
4 c chopped apples
Cream shortening and sugar together, add eggs. Mix in apples, add flour and other dry ingredients. Fold in nuts. Bake in a 9x13 pan for 40 minutes @ 350 degrees.
