2 3/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup margarine, softened
5 eggs
3 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup evaporated milk
Heat oven to 350~. Grease and flour tube pan. Beat sugar, margarine, eggs, and vanilla in large mixing bowl on low speed for 30 sec. Scrape sides of bowl and mix for 5 minutes on high. Beat in dry ingredients alternately with milk. Pour into a prepared pan. Bake for 70-80 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 20 min. Remove from pan and continue to cool. |
